Chalapathi Rao Veeramallu
Mr. Chalapthi Rao is the Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Shresta — a visionary entrepreneur and seasoned professional with deep expertise across a wide spectrum of sectors, including hospitality, real estate, education, sports infrastructure, and environmental science & engineering. It is his humble, down-to-earth nature that truly connects him with people and makes him deeply respected.
Mr. Rao has transformed his vision into a unique, multifaceted destination that harmoniously integrates luxury resort accommodations, elegant banquet halls, and state-of-the-art sports and recreational facilities — all set within a serene, eco-conscious environment. Shresta is not just a resort, but a holistic space where wellness, celebration, and nature converge.
Mr. Rao is the former Chairman
of the CRV Institute of Technology and Science, where he championed
innovation-led education and helped prepare future generations in fields of
engineering studies and technical advancement.
Before, Mr. Rao practiced as a Technical
Consultant, specializing in the design, execution, and commissioning of
environmental and engineering projects. A few distinguished honors, among
the many he has received, include: being classified as an A-Class Consultant by
the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board for his significant contributions to
environmental engineering. He
was honored with a Prasamsa Pathram by the Mayor of Tulsa, Oklahoma, USSA, in
recognition of his technical deliberations. Furthermore, his exceptional
service through the Lions Club earned him the prestigious International
Presidential Award, reflecting his enduring commitment to community development
alongside professional excellence.
At his core, he is a practical
thinker specialized in cost engineering. His hands-on experience reflects the
sustainable ethos embedded throughout Shresta’s infrastructure and operations.
Avinash Veeramallu
Mr. Avinash Veeramallu Mr. Avinash Veeramallu is a Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Shresta, with over a decade of diverse experience across the education, hospitality, and sports sectors. An engineering graduate, he formerly served as Secretary and Correspondent of CRV Institute of Technology and Science, where he played a key role in advancing institutional development and operational efficiency.
At Shresta, he plays a pivotal role in shaping and
executing the organization’s vision. Under his leadership, Shresta has evolved
into a premier all-in-one destination in Shamirpet, Hyderabad—offering resort
accommodations, banquet facilities, state-of-the-art sports infrastructure, and
adventure activities.
Mr. Avinash oversees all verticals of the ecosystem,
driving excellence in guest experience, facility management, event
coordination, and sports development, positioning Shresta as a vibrant hub for
leisure, celebration, and active living.
Tejaswi Veeramallu
Ms. Tejaswi Veeramallu serves as a Director at Shresta
Sports Academy Pvt. Ltd., with a key focus on operations, hospitality, and
guest experience. A Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s in Advanced
Manufacturing Systems, she combines technical strength with strategic and
administrative capabilities.
Formerly the Administrative Head at CVR Institutions,
she has demonstrated excellence in institutional planning and execution. At
Shresta, she leads the day-to-day operations across resort accommodations,
food and catering services, guest hospitality, and facility management,
ensuring every aspect of the guest journey meets the highest standards.
She also plays a vital role in the National Sports
Academy project and is actively involved in grassroots sports
development, athlete training, and community outreach—making Shresta
a place where world-class infrastructure meets inclusive engagement.
With her hands-on leadership and operational insight, Tejaswi is instrumental in positioning Shresta as a dynamic destination for
celebrations, private & corporates events, serine resort stay, and sports
facilities.
Nalini
Ms. Nalini Veeramallu is a Director at Shresta Sports
Academy Pvt. Ltd. and a guiding presence of warmth and values within the
organization. As the wife of Mr. Chalapathi Rao Veeramallu, Founder and
Managing Director, she has been a steady source of motherly support and moral
guidance to the leadership team.
She has contributed to various social and educational
initiatives and, over the years, she had actively supported and organized voluntary
programs across schools, colleges, and communities—promoting compassion,
learning, and service. She previously looked after the financial portfolio of
the CR Veeramallu Educational Welfare Society, playing a quiet yet meaningful
role in its development.
Though her role is more symbolic than operational in
the day-to-day affairs of Shresta, her thoughtful involvement and quiet
guidance help shape Shresta—not just as a destination, but as a space built on
tradition, connection, and care.
